Application:
Inoculants are added in liquid cast iron in order to provide the best and consistent characteristics in the final casting. They are used to control matrix structure and avoid casting defects.
Inoculants can be found under several grain size distributions to satisfy the location of the inoculant addition within the foundry process. those locations of inoculant addition are known as in furnace, in ladle, in stream or in mould.
Ferro silicon is a ferroalloy, an alloy of iron and silicon with an average silicon content between 15 and 90 weight percent. It contains a high proportion of iron silicides and can be used as inoculant with characters below:
1)improve the homogeneity of the cast iron structure
2)eliminate the formation of carbides into thin parts or salient angles
3)direct the solidification towards the stable diagram, with graphite precipitation
4)refine the structure (higher cells count, finer grains in the microstructure)
5)improve mechanical properties
6)better separate slag and metal
7)decrease the tendency to dross formation
8)decrease tendency of micro-shrinkage
9)decrease risk of gas formation
10)decrease risk of mold / metal interface defects

Samples & Inspection:
We could provide free sample for our customers, the buyer will only have to bear the express charge.
And we do arrange factory inspection for all goods which had been produced and deliverd,and can provide SGS and certification from other testing organizations as well.Additionally, the buyer may appoint a third party inspector or, in person for inspection of the goods.
Ordering & Payment:
You could place a trial order for test the quality of the goods,our minimum order quantity if 20 tons.If the tria order met your satisfaction, you can place a official order.
We usually accept T/T and L/C payment and will deliver the goods within 14 working days after receipt of the advance payment/ Letter of credit.
Packing & Delivery:
1.Regular products packing with a multilayer woven palstic ton bag each ton. Or with small bags(20/25/50kg) then into a ton bag.
2.Special product package with moistureproof bags.
3.Package with customers' requirement.
