Armouring Cable Galvanized Iron Wire  5.0mm

Iron Wire is a soft, heavily Zinc coated wire used in the power, terrestrial and marine communications industry for binding electrical cables which are used in places where the cable maybe subjected to crushing or other injury. 

Low carbon armouring wires are produced to meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS 3863 "Galvanised Mild Steel for Armouring Cables"; BS EN 10244 etc. High carbon armouring wires can be produced to customer requirements on request. 

Armouring wire is available in diameters ranging from 0.9mm to 8.0mm and is available in either coils or stems.

Tensile Strength (MPa)

The tensile strength is defined as the maximum load achieved in a tensile test divided by the cross sectional area of the wire test piece. The tensile strength range for mesh Wire is 350 to 500 MPa.
