LED Downlight Instructions
Thank you for purchasing your new LED downlight!
Please take the time to read and understand the instruction sheet below. Failure to do so may void warranty.
Safety Instructions:
All electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrical contractor.
Ensure all mains power is off before commencing any electrical installations.
This product is NOT suitable for damp or explosive environments.
Modification to any part of this product will void warranty.
How to install:
The LED downlight shall be installed in accordance with local electrical standards.
The LED downlight shall be installed in locations and in conditions as described in Figure 1 and Table 1.
Please make sure all electricity is switched of at the main switch board before any electrical works are to commence.
Cut out the hole according to the downlight's specifications.
The LED driver is supplied with an approved flex and plug.
For easy maintenance the use of plug base sockets in the ceiling is recommended.
If you are wanting to hard wire the LED drivers, please remove the supplied flex and plug from the LED driver.
When connecting the LED downlight to the LED driver, please ensure the connecting plug is securely pushed in and the connection is not loose.
Important note: never attempt to connect the LED downlight whilst the LED driver is on/live. Doing so will cause irreparable damage to the LED.
Install the fitting into the ceiling making sure the fitting is securely located.
