Product Description
Ceriated Tungsten Electrode: The electron working function of ceriated tungsten electrode is
not as strong as thoriated tungsten electrode but the arc generation and stability is similar as
thoriated tungsten electrode. There is no radioactive pollution and its chemical stability is good, so
ceriated tungsten electrodes are environment friendly products. It is very easy to generate arc and
keep arc stable with low current. So this tungsten electrode is very popular with low current
welding, especially used for pipe and small article welding, intermittent welding, and quantitative
welding. Please pay attention that this tungsten electrode is not suitable for high current welding.
Because under this situation, the oxide transfers to the high temperature area: the electrode top of
welding. The equitability of the oxide will be destroyed and the above advantages because of the
oxide equitability.
