The Alvarinho wine is customized and differs from the others for its balance of citrus color, light and fresh palate, fruity, distinctive and unique, mouth full of aroma and pleasant lingering post-mouthed, and are by their originality, one of the best wines in the world.

Although it is produced in the “Vinho Verde Region”, the Alvarinho wine, born in Sub-Region of Monção and Melgaço, is distinguished from other white wines of the region, not only for its chemical composition but also for its level of sensory analysis.

Characterized by an extremely rich, diverse and complex aromatic component, the Alvarinho has a delicate aroma and it’s known for its caste with an intense, fine and subtle fruity taste, which can be detected by its basic flavors of diverse natures: peach, banana, passion fruit, apricot, lychee, lemon, hazelnut, amongst others.

In flavor it is harmonious, full-bodied, persistent, soft, dry complex. The quality, balance and potential of Alvarinho are achieved after a few months in the bottle and should be consumed preferably in the following year after its production.

TERRAS DE CONCLAVE

As in early times when the Celtic priests would gather in these lands once a year for the election of their high-druid, so do the grapes reunite once a year for the production of this precious nectar.

Terras de Conclave is a wine that comes from the sub-region of Monção. Its lightness, youth and freshness makes it a harmonious and tasteful high quality green wine.  

This Alvarinho wine demands to be drunk cold, at a temperature between 8 and 10 ºC but slowly cooled in order to preserve its aroma. Preferably served in a frappe it also requires opening the bottle 30 minutes prior to drinking. A remarkable wine to go along with seafood, poultry meat, codfish dishes, smoked or fresh fish.
