II. Plastic Floater for Dredging Pipe
The hull of MDPE floater is made from high wear resistant medium density polyethylene (MDPE) , filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam inside. With reasonable structure and good performance, the MDPE floater becomes the best substitution of the traditional steel floater for the floating dredging pipe. It is widely used as floater in dredging and marine oil industry.

VI. Reference pictures:
MDPE pipe floats are manufactured in bright colors(mainly orange or yellow) to act as warning signs to other vessels in the vicinity. They will give off lights when illuminated.
A complete floater composed of two halves connected by galvanized bolts. The bolt hole are reinforced by stainless steel to ensure a safe and secure connection to the pipe.
