Hose selection                                                                                                  

Users often select hydraulic hoses based on the working pressure of the system. However other factors can dramatically affect hose assembly life. The following should be considered in the selection process:

Single wire braid versus double wire braid

Using high-tensile wire, single wire braid hoses will often have adequate working pressure for many systems. However, if used outside, cover damage that exposes the braid will result in corroded wires and hose failure. An extra braid separated by a rubber layer greatly extends hose life at a small premium.

Compact hoses versus standard hose

Modern manufacturing equipment allows single and double wire braided hoses to be manufactured to exacting tolerances. This process control has allowed the development of products with thinner covers and tubes, resulting in products with reduced weight, increased flexibility and, most importantly for OEM customers, reduced cost. However there is a trade-off. Thinner covers mean that the hoses are more easily damaged by abrasion and, as noted above, if the braid is exposed, it will result in an early failure. And, since all rubbers break down over time from exposure to ozone and weathering, a thinner cover generally reduces hose life, particularly in tight bend situations.

Spiral reinforced hose

To reach higher system pressures and retain flexibility, wires are applied in four or six spiralled layers rather than in braids

Steel wire braids support the hydraulic rubber hose under 3065 psi. Neoprene cover resists abrasion and ozone and weather degradation and prevents tube leakage or other accidents.

APPLICATIONS: This hose is suitable for petroleum based hydraylic fluids within a temperature range of -40℃-+120℃

SAE100 R15                                                                              

CONSTRUCTION:This hose is composed of an inner tube of oil resistant synthetic rubber, multiple spiral plies of heavy steel wire wrapped in alternating directions ,and an oil and weather resistant synthetic rubber cover.

APPLICATIONS: This hose is suitable for petroleum based hydraylic fluids within a temperature range of -40℃-+120℃

NOTE

2.Select the types and specification of rubber tube correctly in accordance with using conditions ,  don't 

misuse or substitute it with other things.

3.Adjust the pressure steadily and slowly when using the rubber tube to avoid sudden damage to  the rubber

 tube. because of the sudden change of pressure

4.The tubes should be removed above the earth when you change the workpalce. Don't drag the rubber tubes

to avoid damage to the  the cover Compound or the corrosion of skeleton layer .

5.The inside part of the tube should be cleaned clearly after the transportation of corrosive liquid to prevent

the corrosion to the tube of the residue.

6.The hose should be used within the designed pressure.
