1. Product Definition
The escalator is a kind of transportation tool, which is used to transport people by the conveyer belt.
The escalator is generally inclined. When pedestrians stand on the step of the automatic walking, they will automatically be taken to the other end of the escalator, and the cascades will keep the level all the way. The escalator has armrests moving with cascades synchronously on both sides for the users to hold. The escalator can be always in a direction to walk, but most of them can be based on time, flow, and other needs, by the management to control the direction.
2. Product Description
With high quality steel as rectangular tube truss, it is much better than the traditional structure. Moreover, it is able to adapt to the large passenger flows in peak period.
The escalator is composed of a ladder (a type of plate conveyor) and an arm (deformation belt conveyor) on both sides of the road. The main components are a cascade, a traction chain and a sprocket, a guide system, a main transmission system (including motor, deceleration devices, brakes and intermediate transmission link) a spindle drive, a ladder way tensioning device, a handrail system, a comb plate and an escalator skeleton and an electrical system etc.. The cascade does horizontal movement at the entrance. Then it will gradually form a ladder. The ladder gradually disappears near the entrance and the cascade does horizontal movement again. These movements are realized by the steps of the main wheels and the auxiliary wheels along different steps.
