Taiwan Smart Tint Electrochromic Sports Goggle
An all new ski goggle with electrochromic color changing PC lens. It allows users to manage the light transmittance according to the environment or their demand.
The electrochromic matrix is solid state. There is no leakage upon impact, ensuring the safety of users' eyes.

TINTABLE KIBING Co., Ltd. was founded in 2011. The company mainly focuses on developing and manufacturing electrochromic devices.
Doctor Chung is a master of High-Tech electrochromics in Taiwan. His valuable essays appear in many international journals during his service in national research institute, and now also serves as a lecturer of electrochromic technology in some research and study courses.
The company’s R&D center began operation since April, 2012, and its phase one target is to develop flexible "tint-able" filters. With strong team work for almost one year, in May, 2013, the company finally created electrochromic filters successfully, which can be used as lenses, and can be integrated with ski goggles, safety eyewears, and helmet visor inserts.
The unique characteristic of the electrochromic filters includes “low driving voltage”, “low power consumption”, and “keeping transmittance in tinted status”. It is a dynamic control function that users are able to control the light on their own demand. Also, the filters provide the high efficiency of absorption for blocking UV and IR. In the meantime, the company’s R&D team is also conducting research in other areas including “auto dimming rear-view mirror” and “smart glass” through the same electrochromic technology.
Auto dimming rear-view mirrors, both the interior mirror at the top of the windshield and the exterior side mirrors, increase driving safety by eliminating glare that can impair vision. Headlight glare in the mirrors from trailing vehicles can make it very difficult to see the road in front. This is particularly dangerous on dark rural highways with cross-traffic, and areas where deer and other animals may dart across the road.
Smart glass refers to electrically switchable glass or glazing which changes light transmission properties when voltage is applied. The use of smart glass can save costs for heating, air-conditioning and lighting and avoid the cost of installing and maintaining motorized light screens or blinds or curtains.
Customized dimensions of filters are available. Regarding business of filters, the company welcomes any kind of cooperation and is expecting to offer total solution over products of ski goggles and sports eyewear via an ODM or OEM by the end of 2013.
