Wuxi Lelou Metal Materials Co.,ltd stocks a wide range of stainless steel coils. The most common grades that we offer are 200,300 and 400 series; cold rolled and hot rolled, such as 201,304, 321,316L, 410, 420 and 430 are all available on request.
Stainless steel coil 316 is the second common Austenite steel, also refers to A4 stainless. With the addition of Mo in 304, 316 is superior in corrosion resistance, pitting resistance and high temperature strength.
Stainless steel 316 is used in cookware, chemical equipment and architectural applications, mining and petroleum industries. SS 316 is usually used for nuclear fuel recycling equipment.
Stainless steel coil 316L is recommended for welding because it has lower carbon content than 316 to avoid carbide precipitation in welding applications. It has higher corrosion resistance than 304 and 304L. In addition to the same feature of 316 steel, the grain boundary corrosion resistance is excellent.
It is suitable for the corrosion-susceptible environments such as desalination industry, water industry.
The 316/316L can be used to fabricate the following finishes: 2D, 2B, BA, No.4, No.1, 8K, Mirror etc.
