alkaline protease for hides liming . soft the skin.DENIE-LIME 388-2(L) is an alkaline protease enzyme used for unhairing during liming. It can also be used as a bating agent. It removes hair from hides and skins during the liming stage of leather processing. Compared to non-enzymatic liming, it can reduce the amount of sulphide and lime needed by up to 50%. Some reduction in liming process time may be possible if normal levels of sulphide and lime are maintained.DENIE-LIME 388-2(L) use can eliminate the use of amines and so reducing the potential for hazardous by-products to be produced during processing.
