DENYKEM INDICLEAN 3 is a process used to de-colourize indigo in denim processing by using a system
containing enzyme and mediator. Indiclean acts directly on the dyestuff enabling denim finishing with
minimal strength loss.
Indiclean treatment is specific to indigo therefore sulphur black remains leaving a grey cast on the garment.
TEMPERATURE PROFILE
The temperature range of the INDICLEAN 3 product is 60 - 70 C.
Optimum performance - 65 - 70 C.
Direct Steam should be avoided.
PH AND ACTIVITY PROFILE
The Temperature range of the IndiClean system is 4.0 - 6.0.
Optimum performance - 4.5 - 5.0
Additional buffer for pH control may be required for exceptional pH conditions.
Activity range: 372.1----372.8DLU/G
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove all surplus loose indigo colour prior to treatment.
For Cleaning and mild colour reduction add 1 - 2% (max) owg, time 10-25 mins.
For increased colour reduction - repeat above step 2 or 3 times, drain bath between steps.
No neutralisation required - only rinsing needed.
Recommend soaping or detergent rinse step after colour reduction. Hypochlorite can be used after above steps for
further colour reduction.
Temperature: Commence at 65°C -70 C.
Time: 10 - 25 mins
Dosage 0.5 - 2% owg
pH: 4.0 - 6 (set by in internal buffer system) (additional buffer may be required)
Liquor ratio: 5:1 to 10:1

Storage: Store sealed in dry and temperate conditions (5 - 25°C)
