Computer Controlled Generator Test Bed

It is adaptable to test the combination properties of generator for carriage after repairing, to ensure its generating and loading function reach the standard.

Constructional drawing

1) The generator can be fleetly installed on the steel structure engine base. The electric motor drives the generator by belt.

2) The rectification box and control box mating with the generator could be installed on the installing base of test-bed to finish the test of generating.

3) The computer will finish the process of test according to the presetting test steps. And it will record the parameters of testing at the same time, work out the conclusion, save and print out the test report.

4) The digital sensors installed in various position of the circuit send the real-time detected movements of AC-DC current, voltage and load to the computer.

5) According to the presetting steps, the computer changes the rotational speed of the electric motor with transducer to change the speed of generator. It is to simulate the different running speeds of the rolling stocks.

6) The electronic load box will consume the electric energy generated by generator in the process of testing. The power of it shall be equipped according to the power of generator. The process of testing is controlled by computer, it provides load as required.

7) When the test-bed is shut down, the electronic load box can adjust the load as to battery to discharge.
