API 7-1 spec Oil Well Drilling Type T, F, B Roller Reamer/Oilfield rotary reamer hole size to 28'' 4330V Mod
1). Roller reamer is designed for various reaming operation. It can be used in hard formation or abrasive formation, in order to keep the standard hole size. When the bit size is under the standard size, it can ream the well bottom size to standard hole size. Whether drilling the vertical well or directional well, it can make the bit or casing come into the normal hole size. The features of roller reamer are small frictional resistance with well wall, strong abrasive resistance and long life.
2). The body is made of modified alloy steel, fully heat treated to 285~341 Brinell hardeness and 54J minimum impact strength. Connections are phosphatized, coated with thread dope and equipped with thread protectors, and are accord with API standard. All types of cutters are also made of special alloy steel and full heat treated.
3). Three types T, F and B of cutters are offered:
Type T: Milled, machined with hardfaced sharp teeth for soft formations.
Type F: Milled, machined with hardfaced flat teeth, for medium hard formations.
Type B: Equipped with pressed-in tungsten carbide buttons, for hard formations.
