L-Ascorbic Acid, known as vitamin C, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays essential roles in human and animals. The functions and its recommended daily dosage is well defined in NRC for varies of species and growth stage. It is widely applied in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and feed industry as anti-oxidant or preventing from Vitamin C deficiency.

  • Coated L-Ascorbic Acid 97% (Feed Grade)
  •  L-Ascorbate-2-Monophosphate 35% (Feed Grade)

 

L-Ascorbic Acid is highly sensitive to environment, such as oxygen, light and temperature, where it is easily oxidized into inactive form. CBH developed two stable products, coated L-Ascorbic Acid and L-Ascorbate-2-Monophosphate, to prevent from oxidation in feed application, which have similar bioactivity as pure L-Ascorbic Acid. Coated L-Ascorbic acid is manufactured by physical method, wrapped by ethylcellulose to protect it away from compatible conditions. L-Ascorbate-2-Monophosphate, which is more stable and heat resistant than other forms, is produced via esterification. It is suitable for pelletizing process in which high temperature is involved.
