Fabric Wristband Security

Highest level of security and protection against replication or copying . . .Perhaps the single most 

important element of 

a wristband is its level of security. Woven wristbands tackle this from both of the main elements of 

security; replication 

(copying) and removal / re-application.

Replication: It is virtually impossible to replicate a Woven Wristband. Unlike other wristbands that 

are simply printed onto, 

woven wristbands are weaved on large highly specialised machine.

Re-application: Woven Wristbands are attached onto the arm using a slide lock or an aluminium 

tube which is crimped 

with a special tool only available from AAC ID Solutions; once fitted they cannot be removed.

Security closures 

Barrel lock works with any of  woven fabric wristbands. It features a one-way sliding lock that uses 

prongs to pierce the 

fabric, preventing the wristband from being removed.

Fabric Metal-Ring wristbands use a crimped aluminium ring to grip the fabric and prevent the 

wrist band from being 

removed. Often known as festival wristbands, they are popular with events of all types and can be 

custom designed 

with up to 8 different colour weaves.

Smart lock wristbands (woven or ribbon) are the most secure woven wristbands available. The

The custom woven wristbands are available on request. The price is the same regardless of the 

number of colours required. 

Price changes depending on the quantity ordered and the type of locking mechnism chosen. 

There is also an option to incorporate 

metallic thread on some wristbands, which incurs an additional charge. Please contact us with

How are the Fabric Wristbands attached?
Our fabric wristbands are attached onto the arm in several different ways depending on the lock

 used. Slide locks are simply tightened by sliding the lock towards the wrist. Once the lock is 

tightened it cannot be removed or loosened. The aluminum lock is tightened by a using special
