AXTAN KPF Alphatic aldehyde

AXTAN KPF encourages to use before chrome tannage to help the improvement of chrome exhaustion and even distribution across the leather, and can increase the shrinkage temperature between 3 to 6℃ in comparison to other ordinary alphatic aldehyde. It is ideal for reducing the chrome content in wastewater. It gives the leather with fine tight and smooth grain. AXTAN KPF contributes to the penetration, absorption and even distribution of other chemicals like retanning agents, dyes and fatliquors that result in reducing between 1 to 2% retanning agents under the same filling effect. AXTAN KPF promotes the absorption of fatliquors and decreases the COD in wastewater when be used after fatliquoring process. It does not affect the dyeing result of leather.
AXTAN KPF can be used in rinsing process to prevent belly loosing and nap becoming longer.
AXTAN KPF never has formaldehyde.
AXTAN KPF is suitable to be used in chrome tanning process.

Appearance: Light yellow or yellowish brown liquid
pH value(1:10, 25℃): 1.8±0.5
Quantities to be used
For retannage we recommend 2.0-3.0% AXTAN KPF, based on shaved wet blue weight, to be offered to run 20
minutes, then add the chrome powder. For rinsing 1.0-2.0 AXTAN KPF are recommended to be used together
with 0.2-0.5% wet-back agents and 0.3-0.5% formic acid. If it is added after fatliquoring, 1.0-1.5 AXTAN KPF
is recommended based on shaved weight of wet blue.
Safety and Storage
It is not a hazardous chemical. Normal safety precautions associated with the handling of chemicals should be observed.
The product should be stored under steal in cool, dry place. Must not throw, keep out of sun and away water .
The product can be stored up to one year at normal temperature (25℃), if be stored as required.

revised by European commission will be take effect in 1st May, 2015. It stipulate for the chromium VI content of
imported leather product is below 3 PPM.)
The properties of the AOXING non-chrome tanning system tanned leather are equal to chrome tanned leather
with good fullness, softness and spring. The shrinkage temperature above 90℃ will be achieved. Furthermore if
you have higher requirement of TS, above 100℃ will also be fulfilled. It gives the wet white mild and light color
tone, and exhibits an extraordinary dyeing. The products assist to increase in absorption of subsequent agents,
such as fatliquors and filling agents,that support to reduce the quantity between 20% to 30% fatliquors in
comparison to chrome tanned pelts. It helps to reduce the COD of waste. The nonchrome tanning chemicals are
by no means the chrome or other toxic heavy metals. The products are environment friendly and not harmful to
human. AOXING promise our products never contain formaldehyde and organophosphate. The application of
AOXING nonchrome tanning system is similar with traditional chrome tanning processes, should not be
significantly altered. AOXING non-chrome tanning system is easy to operate the subsequent processes such
as shaving and wringing.Specific properties or effects are given above are based upon our perfect combination
of technology and our products.
In that case, the whole advanced non-chrome tanning system, not only the single product, is recommended.
