Brass & Copper Coffee Warmer Pot / Ibrik

This beautiful ibrik (also known as cezve) is a Turkish coffee pot designed specifically to make Turkish coffee.

Turkish coffee is also known as Greek coffee, Armenian coffee and with other names.

This particular ibrik is made of brass which is tin lined internally.

Tin lining is used to prevent the contact of water with the brass, which can cause oxidation.

Brass is better than copper because it is a tougher material and remains shiny for longer.

It is more heat conductive than steel which means that it heats easier and you can make coffee faster than steel (and with less heat).

The shiny appearance is also complemented by beautiful decorative patterns, as you can see in the picture below.

The long wooden handle is particularly useful to avoid burning your hands, while making coffee. The brim is specially designed to serve the coffee without spilling. Although you can use it to make Turkish coffee it is so beautiful that you can also use it for decoration. It is also an excellent gift idea for any coffee enthusiast! Sizes There are four sizes ranging from 100ml (3,3oz) to 250ml (8,3oz).
