UHMWPE (also known as Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) Sheet products are manufactured from the semi-crystalline polyethylene (PE) family. Polystone UHMWPE Sheet has a minimal molecular weight of 9 million which has a positive impact on material performance in an abrasive environment.
Polystone UHMWPE Sheet is available in various grades of material depending on the application requirements. Polystone grades available are Polystone 7000 (a virgin grade white UHMWPE sheet and rod product),
Polystone 7000SR (a black static reduced sheet and rod product), Polystone 7000 Ultra (a green filled grade of sheet and rod)and Polystone 8000 (glass filled UHMWPE Sheet with a molecular weight of almost 10 million).
UHMW-PE chute Liner Advantages
1.Good lubrication and exceptional low abrasion coefficient character of UHMWPE sheet make it to be choosed to be the lining of many chute , coal bunker , truck liner , mixing silo lining and other project whose conveyor cohere easily when it been unloaded and delivered . Adopting UHMW-PE sheet as lining can help the company or operator save much time and money .
2.With a very low friction co-efficient and zero water absorption, UHMWPE lining are widely used to eliminate caking, bridging and hanging up of a variety of bulk materials in application extending through steel and cement production, mining and power generation. In new applications the use of UHMWPE liners facilitates shallower chute and hoper angles providing greater design freedom whilst in existing installations the simulation of steeper angles through a low friction co-efficient is often the solution to plant blockage problems.
