Rigid PVC is a strong, stiff, low cost plastic material that is easy to fabricate and easy to bond using adhesives or solvents. It is also easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment. 

     PVC is the most widely used member of the vinyl family. Common applications include chemical processing tanks, valves, fittings & piping systems. PVC Sheets, Rods & Tubes offer excellent corrosion and weather resistance. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is a good electrical and thermal insulator. PVC is also self-extinguishing per UL flammability tests. PVC may be used to temperatures of 140°F (60°C). Available in sheets, rods, and tubing. For improved impact strength, consider Type 2 PVC. For Higher Termperature Performance, consider CPVC.

3. Chlorinated Polyvinyl  Chloride Sheets (CPVC)
