If you wish your bakeware to serve you as long as possible,you should keep to some simple rules of careful handing.
1. Before first use,remove all labels,hand wash in hot soapy water,rinse, and towel dry immediately.
2. Never use abrasives of any kind when cleaning,including steel wool,scouring pads,abrasive powders or oven cleaners.Don’t use harsh detergents or cleaners with chlorine bleach.This will damage the non-stick surface and reduce its effectiveness.
3. Don’t preheat the bakeware empty.Note:Carbon steel bakeware is an extremely good conductor of heat.It can reach high temperatures much quicker than other materials you might be used to.Reaching temperature over 210℃ will only take 4-5 minutes.This temperature is too hot to cook with.It will burn your food and damage the non-stick coating.Always use low to medium heat.Don’t heat pan to temperatures above 210℃.
4. Always let the bakeware cool to room temperature then wash.
