JCX-3 Three-Component Borehole Magnetometer

Main Applications and Features:

The magnetometer is mainly used for magnetic exploration in the well. It is applicable to measure horizontal component X,Y and vertical component Z of the magnetic filed in a borehole with diameter greater than φ46mm. It can also be used as a high-precision inclinometer in the non-magnetic hole or far away from magnetic well. Its functions are as follows:

1.   Verify ground magnetic for abnormity and determine its nature.

2.   Instruct the drilling arrangement, and guide the drilling.

3.   Determine the depth and direction of blind ore.

4.   Determine position, extension, range and thickness of visible ore bodies.

5.   Determine the occurrence of ore bodies.

6.   Search ore deposits with magnetic minerals.

7.   Combine with ground magnetic survey for three-dimensional interpretation.

8.    High-precision measurement of deviation azimuth and inclination.
