The Comfort IR Ceramic Units are protected against water ingress (IP4). However, it is highly recommended they are installed in a covered outside area to give maximum protection, effectiveness and comfort levels.
7. Do the heaters have a red glare?
The Comfort IR Ceramic Heaters do not have any glare, which is one of the advantages over standard quartz/halogen bulb unit.
8. How much area do they cover?
For outdoor use, based on your outside space, the number of Comfort IR Unit(s) will vary. Please call for your specific situation.
9. How long do the IR units last?
Comfort IR Ceramic Heaters are guaranteed for 40 MONTHS from date of purchase. Warranty evaulations are per instance. Operating under normal / recommended conditions will get the longest life out of the Comfort IR heaters.
10. How do I clean the heaters?
When they are turned OFF use a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
