PG Series Lie Detector
Function: Polygraph is one kind of electronic instrument , which records the changes of many physiological parameters such as skin conductance, respiration, finger pulses and cardiovascular ,etc. It can be used to research and detect the examinee’s psychology behavior. The computerized polygraph system is consisted of sensors , main unit , microprocessor ,and test software.
1.Determined Parameters
1.1 GSR (Galvanic Skin Response): Skin conductance changes along with the variety of skin sweat gland’s activity . The examinee’s sympathetic nerve system activity can be reflected by the change of GSR.
Cardioacticity : The polygraph determine cardioactivicity by indirect measurement, ie, by some special methods putted on the outside of body ,it makes the blood pressure pass through some intermedium such as organize and skin ,and then be transferred to the sense organ of the measuring instrument. The psychological behavior is reflected by the change of cardioadicity which includes average blood pressure, blood volume, and pulse.
1.2 Respiration: It refers to the changes of breath process parameters include breath frequence , the time ratio of breath out and breath in, which is caused by the change of psychology behaviors.
1.3 Pulse: It refers to the elastic distortion of artery wall due to the extruded blood during the periodic beat of heart.
1.4 Subject movement against lie detection.
2.Basic Configure
Main unit, sensors, special application software of expert scoring system.
2.1 Sensor: It refers to the components which transfer the examinee’s physiological parameters such as GSR, respiration and cardioactivity to analog signals. It also includes a special chair connected by sensors.
2.2 Main Unit: It refers to the device which converts the analog signals measured by each sensor to digital signals, and then send them to microprocessor.
2.3 Microprocessor: The device processes the test prepare, test control, and data analysis.
2.4 Test Software: The executable files stored on microprocessor. It could process the edition, display, print, storage, data analysis and automatic judgement.
3. Software
The PG-12 polygraph software operates in the windows operating environment uses the records tree catalog.
3.1 Multi level user’s passwords for system access and privileges.
3.2 The number of questions and templates are not restricted.
3.3 It could store, record, analysis all physical reactions of an examinee during a polygraph examination.
3.4 It provides audio/video controllable alarms during the test.
3.5 It could analysis, compare and give results as a graphic record and digital record charts.
3.6 It could automatically produce related material and test reports.
3.7 Digital video or audio can be recorded during the session and played back post exam. It will be in synchronization with the chart data.
3.8 Signals are transferred through USB cable.
