Product Description

OPERATION OF THE POCKET NIGHT VISION SCOPES

Once the batteries are installed you are ready to operate the device.REMEMBER IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO USE YOUR CYCLOPS COMPACT IN A DARK AREA.KEEP THE SUNSHADE COVER ON THE LENS

1.Turn the power on by moving the switch on the top of the unit to the ON position.This activates the intensifier tube and produces a green image.It is now ready for use.Remove the shade and look through the ocular to view your object.When finished ,turn the switch to the OFF position and replace the shade prior to bring the unit into a well lit area.It is normal for the unit to remain on for up to several minutes after you switch it to the OFF position.

2.Remember to remove lens cover (only when in the darkness).

3.To correct the focus to catch users eye.focus the ocular (eyepiece) first and then focus by turning the lens barrel.

4.When viewing in complete darkness ,turn the IR switch to the ON position .This will activate the illuminator (functioning range being 30m) and the red indicator at the back of the unit .Remember to turn it off after use.

CARING

There are some necessary precautions when handling this device.Obeying these warnings means a longer life for your new night vision device.

TO avoid the burning of the intensifier tube,do not switch on the device in the day or under highly illuminated conditions without the lens covers in place .Light sources such as automobile headlights may permanently damage the unit ,any such damage will void the warranty.

DO not open the case of the unit or try to service the device yourself .If the device need to be repaired,please refer to the limited warranty.

Always store your device in a dry ,warm ,well ventilated room

Keep the unit away from any air condition vents or heating devices.

Protect the device from direct sunlight ,dust ,moisture or sudden changes in temperature.

Avoid dropping or other shocking the unit .Mishandling of the unit will void any warranty claims.

Clean lens with professional camera lens cleaning supplies

Clean the exterior of your unit with a soft clean cloth .If you use your cyclops compact in extremely cold temperatures, condensation is visible on the unit and you must wait 5 hours before using it again.

Remove batteries if storing for longer .Then a period of one week.

Damage to this device from failure to observe these warnings may void the warranty.

WARNING

This device should not be used in lighted areas as this can damage the intensifier tube and void any warrantics.

Light and dark spots (points)caused by the image converter tube may be seen in the field of view.These are normal and are not considered to be an imperfection.

Wait at least 15 seconds before turning on again after switching unit off.This allows the image converter tube to property power .down before being recharged.
