ROSIM ITS devoted to develop the intelligent traffic system, such as smart traffic light control system, This sytem is include traffic light, traffic light controller and wireless magnetic vehicle detector. The smart traffic light control system supply the dynamic traffic light controlling by the real-time traffic data, it also call adaptive traffic light control system, it adjust the red light for the intersection, reduce the waiting time for the busy traffic and save the power consumption of the cars, reduce the Co2 output.
Working Principle
By capture the tiny change of magnetism caused by the passing vehicle, WVDs (Wireless Vehicle Detector) calculate the vehicle velocity, length, type and occupy rate rapidly, and then send these information to the WAPs (Wireless Access Points), which will receive all the on line WVDs’ information and transmit these data to the user systems through RS-232/485, Internet, GPRS, etc..
WVD-130x
WVD-130x wireless vehicle detection sensor is designed for pursuit of high efficiency and low cost ITS traffic application systems. Based on technology of magnetic detection and uPower® wireless sensor network, WVD -130x sensors can be easily installed on road in few minutes without any wiring to acquire dynamic traffic flow information with no maintenance for many years.
WAP-348x
WAP-130x Wireless Access Point acts as a gateway between user applications and wireless vehicle detection network formed among the WVD sensors installed on the road surface. WAP-348x manages the network and collects data from all the sensors, and on the other hand, provides data interface to user traffic systems.
Real-time Traffic Counting with LED screen
This system can be used for urban transportation and also used for parking lot entrance and exit to counting the traffic vehicle quantity.
Adaptive Traffic Signal Control System
When the vehicle passed the sensor, it will send the signal at the same time, The WAP will collect all the data and forward it to the traffic controller, so the traffic controller will automatic adjust the red light and green light for vehicles.
Traffic flow detection system
Detector is installed in specified road, detect every vehicle pass by, and transmit the real-time information to traffic management systems via wireless access points. The user systems can calculate the traffic flows by analysing the data.
Speed enforcement
Based on magnetic detection and wireless sensor networks, WVD sensors acquire the dynamic traffic flow information and send the information to Access Point installed nearby. User systems receive and process the information from Access Point, and issue instructions to electronic cameras.
Corridor management
There two vehicle detector at the entrance for detecting a coming and leaving vehicle and transmitting the information.When vehicle passed the detector will trigger the camera take a picture.
The installation for WVD includes 3 steps:
1. Drill a hole of 12cm diameters/10cm height
2.Fill it with cement to 1/2
3.Embedded the WVD and finish the installation
