ROSIM wireless Parking Space Detector , which are installed in each individual parking space, measuring occupancy of these parking space. ROSIM wireless parking data collector is the interface between the parking detection sensors, routers and the user's software platform. Due to the wirless sensor network formed among these parking detection sensors, a certain number of routers and one wireless data collector in a parking lot, the parking space occupancy infomation is transmitted to system provider's parking management platform timely.

The parking information detection system consists of many sensors, a certain number of routers and one data collector. Parking lot occupation information is sensed by sensors, and transmitted through routers to data collector. Usually the collector connects to IP networks and the parking data is finally transmitted to a server, which will deal with all the information and provides service like parking guidance and reporting to people by smart phone,PC and display screen.

9. FAQ

1.How to calculate the quantity of sensors and routers that needed for a parking lot?

Because our detection system is based on zigbee technology, the nodes, which are sensors or routers in our system, connecting to a coordinator, which is data collector, could be supported up to 500+.

But in order to improve the robustness of the wireless network and the efficiency of the detection system, what we recommended is no more than 100 sensors and 10 routers are expected to be connected to one data collector. Each of the connection capacity is:

1.one WPDC data collector connects up to 10 sensors and 10 routers directly .

2. one WR router connects up to 32 sensors and 5 other mesh routers.

2.How to test the detection performance of WPSD?

ROSIM employs multiple detection technologies to achieve an extreme high detection accuracy. It is recommended that test should be carried out through a actual vehicle in a parking lot. The office test is not recommended.
