UF, the abbreviation of ultra filtration, is a process of separating suspended macromolecules from wastewater by using membrane and pressure differential. The membrane used in the process is a selectively permeable membrane which resists survival of macromolecules above a certain size when passing through,and it’s in this manner, it becomes an expert in retaining macromolecules, colloids, microorganisms and pyrogens.
What is RO (reverse osmosis)
Reverse osmosis is the process of forcing a solvent from a region of high solute concentration through a semipermeable membrane to a region of low solute concentration in the result of applying an external pressure to reverse the natural flow of pure solvent.
Reverse osmosis is in the final category of membrane filtration, 0.1nm , to remove pollutants and microorganisms.
Ro is a common method of desalination,groundwater purification, drinking water purification, removing minerals from boiler water.
