Introduction

S9700 Switches provide L2/L3 switching and rich network services such as MPLS VPN, hardware IPv6, cloud desktop, video conferencing, and wireless communications. Non-stop forwarding, hardware OAM/BFD, ring network protection, and in-service software upgrades maximize uptime availability and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) technology virtualizes fixed switches into line cards, APs into ports, transforming a physical network of core, aggregation and access switches, and APs, into a “super switch” to simplify network management.


Cluster Switch System (CSS) virtualizes multiple physical switches into one logical device to provide higher reliability, switching efficiency, and flexibility, as well as simplified management.


Upgrades to an SDN-ready agile switch with an X1E card, equipped with Huawei’s exclusive Ethernet Network Processor (ENP) and Packet Conservation Algorithm for Internet (iPCA) that measures network quality in real time by adding marks on service packets.
