It can auto-adjust the power output to the varying conditions along the pipe. Self regulating properties occur at every point along the length of cable. The self regulating effect allows the cable to be overlapped without creating hot spots or burnout. It is suitable for requiring heating-trace in comprehensive heat field.
LT (HT) is suitable for industrial applications where temperature excursions 85°C (185°C ) or process temperature maintenance to 65°C (120°C ) may be experienced and can be cut at any point to fit pipework owing to self-regulating properties. It produces a uniform heat field. It has been widely used in power stations, off-shore installations, petrochemical industry, building services and food processing. It has ordinary range (/TC-) and strengthened range (/T-). Ordinary range is suitable for use in non-hazardous areas and strengthened range is suitable for use in hazardous areas.
