Insulated glass are hermetically sealed combinations of two or more panes of glass separate by a dry airspace. The air trapped between the two pieces of glass acts as an insulator slowing the rate at which heat and cold can pass through the unit. The more air sandwiched between the glass,the better insulator effect you have.
Triple Insulated Glass Double Insulated Glass
1.Glass – all the types of the Float flat glass + special glass
2. Air Spacer: plastic, aluminium, stainless steel
3. Molecule screen – dehumidifier on basis of zeolits
4. Butyl – first stage of double glass sealing, hot applied
5. Polyurethane or polysulfide two-component cement – second stage of the safety glass sealing cured in the air
6. The interspace filled with air or gas (argon or crypton or other mixture of gases according to requirements for the double glass features)

1. Good insulation properties (K Value for ordinary insulating glass (K= thermal conductivity) is up to 3.0 and 5.8 for monolayer glass), can largely cut energy consumption. 2. Low moisture permeability, will keep the indoor temperature and to avoid the glass frosting.. 3. Dew point of insulating glass is up to -50 °C, can reduce outside noise of 30 dB. 4. Good anti-aging properties, the usage life will be over 10 years. |
