How to choose window friction stay
The selection of friciton stay depends on the window weight and size
(1)Required bearing load of friction stay =the weight of sash (glass weight + profile weight)* safetly factor
(2)The selection of its length. Generally, the length of friction stay is 2/3 of the window height. For light windows, 1/2 of the window height. For top-hung windows, generally 1/2 of the window height.
(3)The length of friction stay can be referred according to the above two requirements.
(4)The utmost opening angle of the sash is relevant with the selection of friction stay and installation position
(5)Making the aspect ratio of sash and frame lower than 1.5

Friction hinge installation
a,Friction hinge fastening using M5*8 stainless steel countersunk head screwsor ST4.2/4.8*12 stainless steel pan head self-tapping screw.
b.According to the actual situation of the rational use of screws, recommend places where there are sink holes shall be countersunk screws to ensure a solid and reliable friction hinge after installation.
c.Must make friction hinge close links with the sash and frame, not loose. The screw must be tightened with a screw or bolt, one less will affect the bearing friction hinge when used.
d.The profit is recommended when thickness is less than 1.4 mm, if necessary, at the bottom of the aluminum pad lined steel, using the pan head screws.
