Features and application

Perforated alumina ball is a new product basis on perforated ceramic ball with high strength and low pressure drop. It used to reduce the pressure drop in large oil refining and chemical industry’s stationary reactor. This product widely used in the oil refining industry for hydrocracking, exquisite reforming, fertilizer transformation.

Main technical characteristics

1. High strength: Multi.hole ball is more closely and uniform for it is mechanical extrusion molding. (Solid ball for manual kneading molding, the other hole ball for manual molding)

2. Lower pressure drop: Because it is multi directional hole, when vapor liquid fluid through the bed layer the Opening direction can throughout flow direction. Voids are effective fluid channel that reduction of the fluid to change direction and staggered thus greatly reduce the bed pressure drop. In the airspeed within 2-4, the bed pressure drop is equivalent to a one-way opening ball drop 60%-80% and to solid ball’s 50%.

3. Good vapor liquid distribution performance: Because the opening direction uniforms that can ensure the filling layer porosity evenly when huddle filling.

4. Big porosity: For the big porosity make through the bed layer of dirt accommodating a large quantity of logistics, thus extension of fixed reactor production cycle.
