What does ‘Cut Size’ mean?
Cut Size is an industry standard terminology for the size of the tarpaulin material when it is cut from the roll during the manufacturing process. Once cut, the material then has seams and hems installed which in turn contain the grommets. The finished tarpaulin can be up to any sizes you want .It is important to remember this when ordering your tarp.
What is the life expectancy of my tarpaulin?
All of our products are subject to varying weather conditions and are put to so many uses. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the length of time they will last. It is usually the case that the heavier duty tarpaulins are likely to last longer than the economy tarpaulins which we recommend for temporary use. To maximize the lifespan of your tarpaulin is it necessary to securely fasten the tarpaulin down. Grommets can come under huge pressure and it is highly recommended that every grommet is used when securing the tarpalin in place. For additional security, we can supply further grommets in varying styles to help prevent grommets pulling out due to undue pressure. You can find the tarp grommets and all fittings within the tarpaulin accessories.
Can you send me a sample of the material?
Of course we can. If you are in any way unsure about the product you require or would just like to see the material before committing to a purchase, please contact us for a sample and we will happily post one out to you . It is the responsibility of the customer to determine the suitability of the tarp for the purpose it is being used.
What is the most effective way to secure my Tarpaulins?
The most popular method to secure a tarpaulin is with Ball Bungees and tarpaulin clips . Ball bungees are a loop of elasticized cord with a ball on one end which allows some flexibility when securing your tarp in place. They are available in 6-inch, 9-inch or 11-inch and in Black, White and Red.Trapulin clips have the same function.
