- Large upper main compartment measures 21" x 14" x 4.5" and has the following features:
- Full-size U-shaped zippered opening for easy loading. Opening measures 13.5" x 11"
- #10 heavy-duty nylon coil zipper with lock-ready sliders
- Zippered mesh pocket under the lid is pleated and measures 12" x 10.5"
- Fold-up "wings" on two interior walls provide amazing rigidity, providing shape and stability, allowing the bag to stand upright
- Two tie-down cinch straps to secure packed contents
- Nose-load zippered end pocket with a floating back wall - if you need to over-pack the interior, the wall compresses into the end compartment. 14" x 5" x 5"
- Four-point center-grab handles are X-box stitch and bar-tac reinforced. Hook & loop padded handle wrap
- Lower compartment measures 21" x 14" x 4.5" and has the following features:
- Padded perimeter walls that allow oddly shaped items some flexibility when packing.
- One moveable "shelf" gives you total freedom to pack and secure your belongings the way you want to:
- 1) Perpendicular to the floor, preventing contents from shifting from end-to-end and crushing delicate items
- 2) Parallel to the floor, allowing ample room for longer items
- Zippered pocket in the ceiling of the lower compartment – perfect for delicate clothing, maps, etc. 18” x 13”
- Access the lower compartment easily via a #10 heavy-duty nylon coil zipper with lock-ready sliders
- If this bag is still not big enough for you, unzip the floor that divides the upper/lower section, roll it up, then secure it in place with the two tie-down straps. Now you have one extra-large compartment measuring 21" x 14" x 9.5"
- Handles on both ends allow two-handed trunk-styled lifting into vehicles
- Recessed, locking telescoping trolley handle extends to a maximum length of 46"
- Privacy-mesh ID pocket on the bottom is sized to hold a business card
- Full-length skid rails on the bottom
- Recessed authentic inline skate wheels are hot-poured polyurethane - the quietest wheels on the concourse
- Four points of contact with the ground help prevent the Mother Lode Mini from falling forward when upright

- Rear section has a full-width pocket (15.5" wide) with a hook & loop closure
- Additional pass-thru pocket when you need to stack it on a roll-aboard. The bottom of the pass-thru pocket zips closed, providing an 8" wide pocket that's perfect for a book
- Two zippered "hip pockets" – one with padding, the other with a drop-bottom mesh pouch designed to hold a water bottle
