We can manufacture high torque, high precision integral and non-integral mill pinions for horizontal ball mill and rotary kiln applications.
We can supply pinions individually or engineer them as part of a fully optimized ball mill, rotary kiln drive. The mill pinions are manufactured double ended for reversible and extended operating life. The use of flexible couplings between the mill pinion and main drive unit ensures accurate alignment and extended operational life.
Decades of experience in the design and manufacture of mill pinions enables to engineer reliable pinions for exact replacement or with new and upgraded features. Total design flexibility enables to tailor mill pinions to customers’ exact requirements.
Mill pinions are designed and manufactured from high quality materials meeting all AGMA metallurgical requirements for a long and problem free future.
Mill Pinion Key Features
- Mill pinions designed and manufactured up to AGMA grade 12 accuracy (DIN/ISO grade 5) and up to 50 module
- Integral pinions are designed and manufactured up to 4 metres long, up to 50 module with a maximum gear face width of 1.2m.
- Profile and lead optimisation using latest design software and gear manufacturing equipment
- Mill pinions can be manufactured as integral with the shaft or non-integral (removable)
