Before use, quicklime is hydrated, that is combined with water, called slaking, so hydrated lime is also known as slaked lime, and is produced according to the reaction: CaO + H2O → Ca(OH)2.
Firstly, chunks of quick lime is loaded into aggregate hopper by wheel loader, through vibrating feeder, it is evenly sent to hammer crusher；and it will be conveyed to digestion equipment when it is crushed into small bulks by hammer crusher；
Next, it can get the resolves with water evenly；
Then it will be put into the digestion cuvette. The dust from aggregate hopper、feeder、crusher and digestion equipment cannot vent out to the atmosphere due to the cover of the dedusting shield, Considering our environmental protection, it will be sucked into the dust collector by theirs respective pipe fan, Next it will enters into water storage tank after water spray system, Lastly, it enters into digestion equipment and go back digestion cuvette, a small amount of air and water vapor will be discharged empty by the dust collector.
Finally it will become hydrated lime and used for buildings and constructions.
