Product Description
SHENGJIE 8 Inch Hydraulic Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) is equipped with a rotating cutter head, for cutting and fragmenting hard soils.
The soil is sucked up by means of dredge pumps, and discharged through a floating pipeline and pipes on shore, to a deposit area. In some cases, the material is discharged into split hopper barges that are moored alongside the Cutter Suction Dredger. These split hopper barges unload the soil at the deposit area.
SJ- CSD200 8 Inch Hydraulic Cutter Suction Dredger is a stationary dredger, i.e. it does not ‘sail’ when dredging.
During dredging the vessel remains on the same location, secured by a spud lowered in the seabed ; by means of winches and anchors, the dredger swings sideways and the cutter head cuts and removes the soil.
Application of Cutter Suction Dredger
The cutter suction dredger is mainly used to fulfill digging, dredging and filling operation at water areas such as coastal, potamic, reservoir, canal,etc.
SHENGJIE can provide a wide range of choices for the cutter suction dredgers. It can meet customers’ requirements for different applications. In the meantime, SHENGJIE prepare ready dredgers in workshop, which can greatly shorten the delivery time.
The modular structure makes the dredgers be transported fast and easily and commissioned quickly at dredging site. All the parts are of a size which allows the dredgers to be easily transported by road, rail and sea.
The cutter suction dredgers can be applied to all kinds of soils, and the dredgers are widely used in port, waterway dredging and reclamation works. These series of dredgers, absorbing advanced technology of Dutch and American related products, have advantages of totally hydraulic control system, simple operation, easy maintenance, rational design, novel layout and strong power. The maximum dredging capacity can reach 6000m3/hr, dredging depth 25m and discharge distance 2000m.
