vermiculite powder is widely used as poultry feed
additives in the world. Why?
Vermiculite is a natural and non-toxic mineral consisting of a variety of microelements such as
K, Mg, Ca, Fe etc. It is expanded rapidly after high temperature roasting. The manufacturing process
of expanded vermiculit powder:high temperature roasting-screening-grinding. Normal sizes:
20-40mesh, 40-60mesh, 60-80mesh, 200mesh, 325mesh. They are mixed with various feedstuffs
for poultry.
Founction of vermiculite for poultry:
- to make the food slow down in the digestive system of the poultry and increase the
gastrointestinal digestive ability
- to promote the poultry growth and increase the poultry yield and quality,
- to absorb the toxic substance in the feedstuff such as residual pesticides etc.
and reduce the contaminants in the poultry products,
- to absorb animal feces smell, lower the temperature of poultry feces, slow decay,
improve the growth environment of the poultry
