Burnt Slide Gate Plate
After burning, there will form a dual combination system in slide plate-carbon bonded and ceramic bonded, which will increase the strengh of slide plate significantly.
(Organic bonding carbonized into coking to form carbon bond, the silicone, under reduction burning in temp. <1300C, Si and C will be comined to generat SiC, forming ceramic bond. )
Commonly, there is pitch dipping process after burning, euipment is vertical or horizontal vacuum pressurized immersion device. Pitch immersion can effective reduce the porosity of slide plate, meanwhile improve of lubricity of plate surface, effectively prevent the wear and tear during sliding process.
High Temperature Burnt Slide Plate
Fine property burnt slide plate adopts tabular corundum, carbonaceous and zirconia as main raw materials, adding in high performance antioxidants, using phenolic resin as binding material, formed under high temperature and burned under high temperature.
High temp. burnt slide plates obtain the advantages of high mechanical strength, oxidation resistance, good erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance and good stability.
Widely used in large and medium size ladle, refining ladle, ladles for casting alloy steel.
