Alumina Carbon Submerged Nozzle
Submerged Nozzle
Submerged Nozzle / Submerged Entry Nozzle/Submerged Entry Shroud is manufactured in Alumina Carbon (Al2O3-C) quality and isostatically pressed. Special protective coating is applied to provide oxidation resistance and decarburisation.
Sub-entry Nozzle/Sub-entry Shroud is used to control flow of liquid steel from "Tundish to Mould". It prevents re-oxidation of steel between the tundish and the mould.
SEN plays an important role in protecting the molten steel from air oxidation when it flows from the tundish to the mould. It also averagely distributes steel into the mould and control the steel fluid state in the mold.
LQ series of SEN features good thermal shock resistance, stability, corrosion resistance and anti-mechanical fracture. Every batch of products have passed rigorous NDT X-ray test before launching into the market.
