Product Introduction
Electrical charges can form on the surface of plastic products during mold release, the winding of film and transportation
of components. The accumulation of this surface charge can have serious consequences. Electro static discharge can cause
fire or explosions and damage to sensitive electrical components. Conductive antistatic master batches can increase
problems with the handling of goods and cause unattractive dust buildup on clear plastic articles. Addition levels vary from 3-5%
higher levels may be needed in more crystalline polymers such as HDPE. A higher addition level increases the migration rate
to surface, resulting in better initial performance. ANTISTATIC MB for Injection Moulding plants, Blow Moulding plants, Extrusion
plants (Mono Filaments, Film Plant, PE Foam, Etc.
