Knife-Coated Advertising Flex Banner
What is knife-coated?
knife-coated is a kind of synthetic material whose thickness is usually thicker than common flex banner. Just as what you have seen as follows, the observe side of the blade coated is pliable and smooth, but the reverse side is rough and asymmetrical with thick granulate.
However, knife-coated is also named high-strength PV tarpaulin, PVC waterproof tarpaulin, which is divided into glossy and matt side, the glossy is mainly used in indoor media advertising while the matt can be applied in indoor and outdoor advertising.
Features of knife-coated:
1) Knife-coated is widely used in large format slap-up as markets thanks to its special character of the high strength, good ductility and strong suppleness.
2) Owing to its smooth surface and stronger absorbency, knife-coated is equipped with strong ink adsorptivity which make it easy to adhere under oil-based or water-based inks
3) It has stable physical and chemical properties with the major performance of oxidation resistance and being able to bear acid-base and low temperature.

1, Promotional Frontlit banner is opaque pvc and polyester based substrate suitable for frontlit applications. It is suitable for short term applications such as sign.
2, Premium Frontlit banner is a premium opaque pvc and polyester substrate suitable for long term frontlit applications. The special pvc surface coating optimizes ink adhesion and color reproduction for long lasting brilliant prints. It is suitable for long term applications such as billboard, building banner etc.
3, Backlit banner is translucent pvc and polyester based substrate suitable for backlit applications. It is suitable for short term or long term applications such as lamp post, bus shelters etc.
4, Black back banner is opaque flexible pvc and polyester yarn based printing substrate specially designed for indoor and outdoor frontlit advertisements. The reverse side of this banner is black in color, which makes it an excellent choice for advertisement where extreme opacity is required to block light from the rear and front, which can affect the clarity of the image printed. It is suited for indoor and outdoor applications such as stage backdrops, which have strong lights in the front or can be used to cover an existing advertisement with complete opacity.
5, Blockout banner is produced with a special construction, which makes the banner ultra smooth for both side printing. The black pvc film is inserted between the pvc surface layer to deter the ligth transmission, allowing sharper images and provide greater dimensional stability.
6, 510g Knife-Coated Frontlit banner is an opaque flexible pvc and polyester yarn based printing substrate specially designed for indoor and outdoor frontlit advertisements. It is produced with high tendile polyester yarn to provide dimensional stability, high tear resistance and longer durability in harsh weather conditions. It is suitable for long-term outdoor applications such as billboard, hoardings etc.
7, Mesh free banner is produced with a special construction, which makes the banner smooth and no mesh. This product is especially suited for backlit applications, high light transmission, allowing sharper images and provide greater dimensional stability.
