Polyleaders are constructed by using a level core and tapering a coating much the same way fly lines are made.
They become an extension of the fly line itself.
There is also an added advantage for being able vary the coating to float or sink.
A new development from our fly line technology we can now offer coated tapered leaders in a range of different lengths and densities.
Widely recognised for their ability to turn over smoothly allowing the use of extended leaders as well as more control of the fishing depth through the use of different densities Coated tapered leaders can make the difference between catch and not catching.
Available in a variety of sizes from 5ft up to 16ft on differing core sizes we can offer coated tapered leaders in four different coating densities as standard
F Floating
S Sinking
FS Fast Sink
SFS Super Fast Sink
The technology used to create these coated tapered leaders, either with or without fused loops, can also be used to produce other types of coated leaders where the density or profile of the product can be used to create a benefit to the sport fisherman.
