Mixed hydro turbine has radical inflow into runner, which is referred to as Francis hydro turbine. Mixed hydro turbine invented by American engineer Francis in 1849 is currently one of the mostly widely used.

The mixed flow hydro turbines are suitable for water head of 15 m -400m, runner diameter of 0.4m-6.3m; capacity of 75-100,000kw
