Automatic fare collection system(AFCRS)

Automatic fare collection system, designed and developed by softland india is one of the most feature rich and effective solution that is ideal for use for any Transport Companies (Bus, Train, Boat, Taxi, Auto) who are having multiple Vehicles running at Single or Multiple locations. This solution provides an excellent control over the vehicles in the fields. Optional models for cashless ticketing and cash ticketing are available in the system. This solution is an end-to-end derivative for controlling all aspects of ticketing in the fields. This solution also has an array of MIS Reports that will help the enhancements for the growth of the Organisation. The solution has got the following components.

PALMTEC AMPHIBIA

Palmtec Amphibia is an rugged light weight Embedded Handheld Portable Computer that comes with inbuilt Keypad, LCD, Printer and has rechargeable battery. This is an ideal solution to Bus Ticketing. Options for Adding Smart Card Reader, GPS, GPRS are available.

SMART CARD

Smart card can be used for Electronic ticket for storing Electronic Money / Concession for Bus ticketing. Palmtec has an in built Smart Card Read for reading and validating the cards. The security by the way of AES Algorithm is provided for preventing Misuse of the same.

FIRMWARE INSIDE AMPHIBIA

Plamtec is Pre loaded with the firmware for Bus Ticketing for generation of tickets Enabling of Smartcard based cashless tiketing. Online GPRS ticketing and generation of reports pertaining to the ticketing activities.

AFCRS

AFCRS, the server side back end software is to be installed at server connect to static IP where the ticket information from Palmtec will be recieved.

AFCS is an integrated system for collection & consolidation of revenue related information from ticket issue inside the fleet right up to the generation of various financial & MIS data to the management for effective analysis and decision making.

The Server (PC) is loaded with the Web bassed application software. The data from the DB will be configured in the same. The Palmtec devices Configuration will be entered and the server is connected to a static IP for enabling connectivity and data management for online data reception of the Ticketing Data from Palmtec Devices in the field.

Route Management - This module helps in creating route, stage & Tariff data to various vehicle types.

ETM Management - This module helps in adding ETM to the Depot & also create setting for the working of the same.

Vehicle Management - This module helps in adding Vehicle data Vehicle Type etc.

DEPOT Management - This module helps in adding Depot data & Link the Employees, Vehicle and Route data to the Depot.

FARE Collection Management - This module helps in generation of Fare Collection Live Moniter for viewing of the day to day and time to time live data moniter of the various tickets issued from various ETM's

Smart Card Management - This module helps in creation of the various Smart Card Tyes, Allocation of the cards to the Depots, Issue of Cards to the Conductors, Set recharge limit and then Issue of cards to the conductors, Set recharge limit and then Issue of cards the commutatos, the recharges and the live view of the same.

Report Management - This module helps in the view of various report Pertaining to the entire solution. To know the various Revenue patterns, Revenue collection No. Of Bus in the field etc.

Private Hire Management - This module helps to provide the Private Hire of the Vehicles to the clients and its report.

Data Upload & Download Management - This module helps Upload and Download of Data to ETM and back.
