Cement silo is one kind of Cylindrical container which could store bulk cement, fly ash and food grain.
Application of cement silo
The cement silo is usually used to store cement, fly ash, fly mortar and other powder materials in concrete
batching plant, bridge project, urban construction and etc. Cement silo have the features of waterproof and
moisture-proof and decrease dust pollution which is good to environment.
Structures of bulk cement silo for storage:
It is composed of silo body, outer climbing ladder, inner ladder, deduster device, platform, guardrail, pressure
safety valve, arch breaking device, upper legs and supporting legs, feed tube, discharge valve, spotter and
observation hole.
Features of bulk cement silo
1. It covers small area and have the features of waterproof and moisture-proof.Cement silo could decrease the dust pollution.
2.equipped with level indicator so as to monitor the material level and amount
3.Arch breaking device at the bottom of silo is to prevent material bridging and ensure smooth
unloading
4.Manhole and access ladders inside and outside of silos are for overhaul and maintenance
5.Equipped with guardrail to protect the safety of workers
