RK-200 wear resistant steel pipe is available in a range of thickness and can be customized according to various overlay alloy/the substrate combinations produced with either single or double pass overlay layers. Using the open arc welding process, RK-Plate overlays are prominent in a wide and smooth bead shape with a clearly defined and well-developed pattern of stress cracking, which structures outstanding resistance to wear. Visible cracks on the surface are formed for releasing stress. They exist only in the hardfacing overlay and do not progress into the substrate.
The microstructure of RK-Plate is a mixture of high volume hexagonal shaped chromium carbides in tough austenitic and martensitic matrices.
