Incoloy 800 alloy has the following features:
1. having excellent corrosion resistance at a very high temperature up to 500 ℃ aqueous medium
2. good Resistance to stress corrosion performance
3. good workability
Incoloy 800 metallurgical structure:
800H for the face-centered cubic lattice structure. Very low carbon content and improving the Ti: C ratio increases the stability and structure of the largest anti-allergy activity and resistance to intergranular corrosion. Low temperature annealing around 950 ℃ guaranteed fine grain structure.
Incoloy 800 corrosion resistance:
Many corrosive media capability 800H corrosion. Its high nickel content in aqueous corrosion conditions has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. High chromium content so that it has better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good resistance to nitric acid, organic acid corrosion, but limited corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. In addition to pitting corrosion may occur halide, there are very good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salt. Water, steam and mixtures of steam, air, carbon dioxide also has good corrosion resistance.
Incoloy 800 Application field are:
1. Condenser nitrate - nitric acid corrosion resistance
2. Steam heating pipes - very good mechanical properties
3. The heating element tube - very good mechanical properties
For applications up to 500 ℃ environment state is annealed alloy supplier.
