MMCX Type Series RF Coaxial Connectors

    Type MMCX is a kind of microminiature connector smaller than type MCX. The characteristic is in small volume, light weight, convenient and reliable connection. They’re widely used in connection with the RF coaxial cables, transmission of RF signal, equipments or small-sized communication network that are demanding on systematic volume and weight by using surface mounting technology. It’s suitable for mass instrument equipment production and producing on the assembly line.

 

The MMCX series is also called MicroMateTM. It is one of Amphenol's smallest RF connector line and was developed in the 1990's. MMCX is a micro-miniature connector series with a locksnap mechanism allowing for 360 degrees rotation enabling flexibility in PCB layouts..

The micromate family of products is a 6 GHz 50 ohm interconnect system. A range of connectors are available including surface mount, edge card, and cable connectors.
